Smallprint provides an automated contract analysis service. Users upload legal documents (contracts, terms of service, insurance policies, leases, employment agreements, etc.) and receive automated analysis identifying potential issues, exclusions, and unfair clauses.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Smallprint, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Service Description

Smallprint uses advanced technology to analyze uploaded documents. The service:

  • Identifies potential traps, exclusions, and unfair clauses
  • Provides a trust score based on weighted criteria
  • Detects the applicable legal framework and jurisdiction
  • Extracts structured data (durations, costs, deadlines)

Smallprint does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis.

5. User Accounts

To use Smallprint, you must create an account with a valid email address or sign in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Smallprint.

One account per person. Account sharing is not permitted. We enforce one active session per account.

6. Free Tier and Paid Plans

  • Free tier: 1 analysis upon registration
  • Subscription plans: provide additional scans per month as described on our pricing page
  • Credit packs: provide a fixed number of scans with no expiration

Pricing and plan details are available at https://small-print.ai/pricing. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which handles billing, VAT, and invoicing on our behalf. By purchasing a subscription or credits, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Credit packs are non-refundable once purchased.

8. Uploaded Documents

When you upload a document to Smallprint:

  • You retain full ownership of your documents
  • You grant Smallprint a limited license to process the document for analysis purposes
  • Documents are processed and stored in our database
  • Aggregated, anonymized data from analyses may be used to improve the service and build public company scores

You must not upload documents that you do not have the right to share, or documents containing illegal content.

9. Data and Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Key points:

  • Documents are stored securely on Cloudflare infrastructure
  • We do not sell your personal data
  • We do not share your documents with third parties
  • Anonymized, aggregated analysis data may be used for public features (company scores, rankings)

10. Intellectual Property

Smallprint, its design, code, and branding are the property of Kunley SASU. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the service without written permission.

The analysis results generated for your documents are yours to use, share, and reference as you see fit.

11. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Use Smallprint for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to inject prompts
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent scan limits
  • Resell or redistribute Smallprint's analysis commercially without permission
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service

12. Service Availability

Smallprint is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes to the service at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kunley SASU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Smallprint.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of Smallprint after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
